Following recommendations from fellow Disney World Blogger, AJ from the Disney Food Blog, I knew that the Starring Rolls Cafe was a place that I had to check out for myself on a recent trip to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Starring Rolls Cafe has bagels, danishes, and muffins like many other Disney World locations, but what sets it apart is the special treat display case.
There are many different dessert items to choose from and all of items shown are available for one Disney Dining Plan Snack Credit. Some of the items pictured in the case include: Tiramisu, Fresh Fruit Tart, Praline Cheesecake, Banana Split, Brownies, White Chocolate Cupcakes, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake, Marble Cupcake, Chocolate Butterfinger Cupcake, Strawberry Parfait, Eclairs, & Napoleon.

It isn't good enough to just look at these temping desserts, my family had to try a few of them to make sure that they were as good as they looked.
Unfortuately we were only able to try three, but they are all snacks that we would recommend.
The Butterfinger Cupcake at Starring Rolls Cafe is unlike any cupcake that I have ever seen before. It had come highly recommended and now I know why. It is one amazing cupcake. It starts with the butterfinger "dust" to coat the outside chocolate shell. Inside you will find a whipped cream /frosting layer, followed by fudge, and of course chocolate cake.

If you are on the Disney Dining Plan you can't go wrong with using a snack credit to purchase this gourmet cupcake.
The Napoleon can also be found at the Boulangerie Patisserie in the France Pavilion of Epcot. This snack is a wonderful combination of layers of flaky pastry and Boston Cream Pie Filling. The portion size is generous and the taste is wonderful. Certainly another winning choice for the use of a Disney Dining Plan snack credit.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake
The picture shown above doesn't do justice to the massive impression that the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake makes in person. For the peanut butter fan, this is a true treat. We split this cupcake amongst 3 people and well all felt we got a good sized snack.
This snack starts with the shaved chocolate curls along the outside, held together with generous amounts of peanut butter. Inside you will find chocolate fudge and chocolate cake. Again, if you love peanut butter and chocolate this is the treat for you. Another sure fire winning snack.
Starring Rolls Cafe Wins The Academy Award For Snacks
The Starring Rolls Cafe has a given the star treatment to snacks. The cupcakes here are way beyond ordinary and worthy of special attention.
If you look again at the picture of the special treats case at Starring Rolls Cafe, you will not find a bad snack in the case. All of these are top notch and worthy of redeeming your snack credits.
Even if you are not on the Disney Dining Plan, these are still great snacks that you or your family will love.
When you visit Disney's Hollywood Studios certainly plan on visiting the Starring Rolls Cafe during your snack break and feel free to comment on your favorite snack that you tried.
